Frankincense is a natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant that can help reduce the signs of aging. It also protects skin from pollution, sun damage or harsh chemicals like pesticides by creating an inhospitable environment for those molecules to thrive in instead.

Tea tree oil has been used to treat a variety of ailments including acne, eczema and psoriasis. The anti-inflammatory properties of the substance make it an excellent choice for soothing red skin after sun exposure or treating cuts that are becoming infected.

Dilute essential oils

Learning how to dilute essential oils is key if you want the best possible results.
A general rule of thumb when applying pure, potent extracts like lavender or peppermint is that they should be diluted with a carrier oil (such as coconut) before application so those harsh edges are smoothed out and absorbed into your skin instead. GET THE BEST TOOLS

Coconut oil is a popular moisturizer with many benefits. It doesn't have any negative side effects and can be used by people of all ages, races or religions because it's non-comedogenic.

Do a patch test.

To ensure that the product you are about to apply will not irritate your skin, do a patch test first.

Add a couple drops of your favorite oils to an appropriate-sized carrier oil, then apply it with the pad on one side (if using) or both sides if needed - this will help you get all those benefits from different scents at once.

A little goes such long way so don't worry about making mistakes. You can even use fractionated coconut oil for some intense therapeutic effects without feeling overwhelming because its healing properties are tailored towards specific needs instead general ones which means they work better than other types out there.

Make a toner.

I use organic witch hazel to blend in geranium, helichrysum and carrot seed oil which all aim at balancing acne prone skin. These ingredients help reduce inflammation.

Mist your face.

Amy recommends using this refreshing face mist after cleansing to help calm and soothe your skin. Fill up the spray bottle with water, add three drops of tea tree oil for an invigorating boost or customize depending on what kind smells best. GET OUR BEST MISTING SPRAY BOTTLE

Add it to a mud mask.

Combine dry clay with a liquid to make it more pliable and workable, then add your favorite essential oil. Blake likes Rhassoul clay from Morocco, this type is good for all skin types but especially those who have sensitive or acne-prone complexions.

Use it in your hair.

For the perfect hair, I blend argan oil with coconut and avocado. Then to make it even smoother you should add in some almond or LOTUS AVACADO OIL too! This will keep your tresses looking hydrated all day long without any frizziness whatsoever.
